Yet another update for the Archetypal sample pack! This time it’s all the drum samples from the renowned Roland SRX-01 expansion board. At the moment, this is my favorite drum sample collection for anything requiring a ‘real’ drum sound that sits effortlessly in a Rock or Pop mix.
This update includes a folder of all the samples recorded with my favorite combo for drums – API 512V mic pre > API 550A EQ > Neve 542 Tape Simulator. I also recorded another folder of the same drums, but this time crushed with the LoFi mode on my Dramastic Obsidian VCA Compressor.
